Question Details

Answer

If the lending library is assessed fees for late or damaged interlibrary loan items, those fees will be passed on to the borrower. Interlibrary loans are due by the date on the wrapper attached to the material. Please return your ILL item with the wrapper/paperwork intact! Failure to return the item with the original wrapper may result in slower processing times or cause the item to become lost. Books not returned or renewed by the date due may jeopardize the library's borrowing relationship with other libraries.

Overdue material will block your ability to initiate or receive new interlibrary loan requests.

Unreturned interlibrary loan items are billed as lost items. Users will be charged $100 as a lost item replacement fee, plus $15 as a lost item processing fee.
