Yes! People who are not affiliated with the university can sign up for a courtesy card. This involves filling out an application with contact information. They do not need an identification card in order to apply. Courtesy cardholders can check out anything in the building, and can request items from other U of M campuses. They are not able to access the interlibrary loan system. More information can be found at the Borrow Materials - Library Guests page of our website.
